Bullying is a small word which means so much more.

When we can understand something, we can be more tolerant...

    Kim Ehman

"Hello, my name is Kim Ehman and I am a mother of four from Craik, Saskatchewan.

Like everyone else, I watched the horrific events of the school shootings in Columbine, Colorado and Taber, Alberta unfold through the media's eyes in April of 1999.

It touched me deeply and it was then that I decided to do something – something to ... make a difference".

"I wrote, directed and produced all of the videos that I use to make presentations in schools and workplaces. The message is simple - we choose how we treat each other all the time.

Plainly – it is a

   "WAKE UP
   EXPERIENCE
"

My concept is simple:

Treat people with respect; present a positive attitude.

The reality is that some people harbour very negative attitudes and those attitudes are, in turn, expressed to others – more pointedly, in the form of bullying.  Albeit these expressions may seem small, a practical joke or a sarcastic remark, the effect on someone else may be detrimental. You do not know what is going on inside someone else or what effect your actions have on their feelings of self-worth.

When we receive ten positive comments during the day, one negative comment can take away all the positive. The negative comments can stay with us forever.

My focus is not on bullying (I do not use the term), but more importantly, on attitude.  I start my discussions with respect and what it means, and then move on to attitudes – both positive and negative.

My sessions are visual.... I use music and video to get people  thinking.  It takes you to a place to instill this powerful message.

It is a deep, powerful, and very effective presentation. In fact, it is more of an experience than anything else.
