Choices is targeted toward the grade 6 to grade 12 students and is also recommended for adults, educators, parents, etc.
this session includes the two films, Unknown Wounds and Choices
the film, "UNKNOWN WOUNDS", or a RECAP of the film; ends in a suicide. Each is meant to elicit a deep response from the students by making them realize that they must take responsibility for their actions and be prepared to deal with the consequences, no matter what.
Kim provides a lot of context with these videos to get the students thinking both before and after the presentation.
the new film, "CHOICES", is about a teenage girl who is being verbally abused at home and then chooses to bully another girl at school. The end result being that she is charged with mischief and harrassment. The strong message being that you choose how you treat people and that you are responsible for the choices you make
